Why do humans waste so much time?
Your time on this earth is so fleeting, why do you waste it on such trivial things?
But oh, where are my manners? First I should introduce myself. My name is David and I am, as you may have guessed, a vampire.
And you? You are here because I invited you. You heard my call, you began searching and found me thinking all the while you had your own will that led you to click on this blog, to read what is written.
But don't worry, I won't victimize you. In fact, I've made great progress in that area. The other day I told my therapist how I did not feed on my new cleaning woman and she was very proud to hear of my progress!
Being around so long, I have observed so much about humans that I thought I would post what I find and offer some bit of insight that I posses as part of what my therapist calls, "giving back".
"David, " she has told me, " you have taken so much, you really need to balance out your karma and give back."
So that is what this little blog is all about. Giving back, aren't you lucky!
So, onto the topic at hand!
As an immortal, with all of the time in the world I can see clearly how precious this commodity is for humans. But you waste it so much! And with the invention of the internet, social media that has given a place to people such as the Kardasians you have been progressively finding more things to both waste your time on and rage about.

You waste time here because you don't follow your passions, and you rage because you have nothing worth while to feel passionate about. You have reduced your life to finding remote pleasure in counting your "likes" and sharing your outrage online with anyone else who will listen to you droll on about that misguided person who stole your parking spot.
Why?
What has happened to you? I've actually bitten some of you while you were looking at your phone and you did not even notice!
Wake up, you are granted only so many years. I promise you, if you don't change now you will one day regret a lifetime of worrying about dumb things. And all those likes you accumulated over a lifetime won't amount to anything.
So, my advice? Find something to be passionate about. Start now, today. I will help you with some questions.
What kind of movies do you like and why? Do you find yourself always watching movies about musicians or bands? Maybe you love movies with nature in them , or you watch every dance movie out there. I knew a young woman who loved shows about doctors and hospitals, that pointed to her passion to be working in one. I'm not saying you should quit your job, but would it kill you to leave the remote alone and join a dance class?
You see, there is a reason people are drawn to particular stories (and one day I may tell you mine), these point to your secret passions.
Now, go, do what I say and report back to me.
I'll be here, waiting.
